MG Manawatu - New Zealand
MG Manawatu is a group of classic car enthusiasts based in Palmerston North, Manawatu district, North Island, New Zealand.
MG Manawatu began about 10 years ago by a small group and has now grown to over 60 members. And while we are not formally affiliated with MG New Zealand, you won’t find a more fun loving and dedicated group of MG owners anywhere.
Whilst we are predominately for MG owners & enthusiasts we also welcome participation from other British sports car owners, particularly Triumph TR and we often have several Triumphs participating with us.
We have a wide range of vintage, classic and modern MG’s in the group including M Type, TC, TF, TD, MGA, Magnette, Midget, MGB, MGF, ZS180.
We hold events usually every month and the emphasis is very much on the enjoyment of driving your classic on the many varied and scenic motoring roads we have available to us in this region, along with a very strong social aspect mixing with very interesting and like minded people of all ages.
Our events are very varied (look at the events tab at top) and can be a short run for a meal and a chat, or a special event, or even longer runs that cross the North Island or a tour of the South Island!
