Interesting pictures from the Melbourne F1 and Fox museum Robert. I went there about 3 years ago and there were no MG's on display - I understand this is just a small part of his overall collection and the displays are rotated and changed periodically. If you are ever in Melbourne, definitely worth a visit.

Just preparing the instructions for this run. We will have this finished in the next couple of days. If you want to come for the day and not do the Gentle Annie road or stay overnight you can, just return home back to the Manawatu.

Hi Mg'ers hope you have great trip next weekend.Still not sure if I will make yet.But would like to throw something in for discussion ,as the Targa maps are published in Classic Car mag would anyone be interested in perhaps cruising some of these two day event roads (ie tracing the targa roads sometime in the future and doing an overnighter in say HASTINGS OR ROTORUA. cheers Des.

Since nobody else seems to have done so I'd like to say thank you Rob for your well written and detailed report on Sandy and Trevor's weekend. It made me smile as I relived the fun time we shared on the trip they had obviously put so much effort into organising for so many of us.

Bruce McLaren Movie
Was good to have a good turn out to see the Bruce McLaren story.
Focal Point Cinema was the venue as it had already finished at
Events Cinema in PN
14 people met at the cinema in Feilding at 5.30pm Some just ordered food to take in with them while others had dinner after the movie.
Good to catch up on a casual evening out

Don't forget to book now for the Mid Winter Xmas event,
Boho cafe has a good name and we will all be fed well
Lets make this a big event See you there

Another great Mid Winter Dinner and good turn out of members
Thanks for this must go to Pat for organising the whole programme
Many moons have past overhead since my first visit to the Power Station not that things have changed there much.
What a great thought to get Russell Harris along as guest speaker
Russell has a long association with MGs and the MG Charity classic car racing at Manfeild
Way back in history i was one of a team from 2ZA that went out all night to report on the Day Breaker Rally. Our job was to get details back to Russell for his radio reports, Hard to do that out in the middle of nowhere and before we had cell phones
Anyway Thank you Pat for a fine job
PS Pat you need to go online to read this
