Hi could be interested in going down to British car day . is anyone else going down ? cheers Des
Sorry Des This is the same weekend as the Grand Prix at Manfeild
The first MG run for this year is on Sunday the 4th Feb at we will be going over to Pahiatua to see RM5 come out of it shed after it's restoration. This is an official celebration and therefore open to the public. There will be rides on RM31 railcar
More details to follow with email from Rachel
We have now been told that the new railcar RM5 still has some major running problems so the celebrations have been postponed till further notice
This also means our MG run is cancelled but don't worry we have
other plans. A new run is being put together but the date will change to the 18th of Febuary
More details will be posted on this website soon
Re $10-00 subs due January 2018: can I please advise it is only $10-00 to belong it’s not per couple or per car just $10–00.
If you have any queries please ring me 06 3234040 or email me firstname.lastname@example.org. Some people last year paid $20-00 so hence they have already been marked as having paid for this year as well. If you want to check email or phone me thanks Sandy
The new concept MG E-MOTION electric car (see website home page for link) What does everyone think? I think it's a very good looking sports car design - definite shades of Mustang perhaps in the body lines and even a little Mazda in the front? It's definitely time MG began looking at sports car production again!
18 feb Shannon car show at Shannon always a good day with a great verity, of cars, generally in excess of 200.SEE YOU THERE ///. Des
Correction our fist run for the year was to Tangimoana Beach before the planning meeting
Thanks everyone for coming to a MG picnic day out, it was really great to see some of our members that we had not seen for a while. Dominic Scott has captured our day out very well in the photos in the gallery with great captions.
Thanks to Sandy and Trev for a well organised, very relaxed and enjoyable day out with lots of interesting things to see and do on the 'Parks Run'.
Yes, very good photo's Dom. There is an old goat in there that looks familiar but I can't recall his name. ;)
Fantastic set of gallery photos from your 'Parks Run' - and from a number of members. Well done!

We agree Robert that June and Murray organised an excellent day.
Our sincere thanks to them.
And four cars added icing to the cake by taking in the late afternoon live music Sunday Session at Awastone, Mangaweka before heading home.
Credit to ROBIN &CLAIRE for an excellent run but LARRY proved that Taupo fish are very scarce/////.
Its a pity Maurice Gordon BEAR didn't make the trip ( actually has missed several)and this was a great and humorous way of keeping records of the clubs activities////. SADLY MISSED ///.RIP mg.
