Apiti Christmas Party - 4 December 2021
A belated update on this final run for the year (I've been away). Murray Whitehead and June Barratt organised a fitting finale to another interesting year, with some great country roads, and a little dust.... A delicious lunch provided by the Apiti Tavern, and some good conversation saw us looking forward to another year of great outings to be planned in January. Thanks to Murray and June, and also to Graeme Barnard for the trip report.

East Coast Route 52 Run - 21 November 2021
We were all looking forward to this run going ahead after yet another Covid hiccup delayed it, and after some more fine tuning by Ian and Sue Bailey, we had a great day out on some very scenic back roads, with a popular lunch stop at Pongaroa. Thanks to Steve Higgison for providing the report, and of course to Ian and Sue for their organisation.

Whanganui Poker Run - 16 October 2021
Once again, Covid restrictions impacted the original plans for this Whanganui Run, but Toni Jenkins did a great job coming up with an alternative popular with the Vintage Car Club - a Poker Run. A first for some of us, it was a wonderful way to see a bit more of Whanganui than the usual places, and kept us on the lookout to find all our cards. Read all about it, thanks to Robert Wilson.

Ladies Run - 26 September 2021
After a week's delay due to uncertainty around Covid alert levels, we were able to proceed with our run for brunch at retirement village, Speldhurst Estate. Given our demographic, I wondered how many of us were thinking ahead to possibilities here - certainly a few members already had friends settled in, enjoying what was on offer, including their regular, very reasonable cooked Sunday brunch. Thanks to Gay and Anne for organising our post-lockdown run to shake out the cobwebs; Robert Heath for the trip report, and once again, Robert Wilson for our photos.

Monte Carlo Run - 18 July 2021
Something a little different this month - four groups set out from different locations for some lovely winter driving to our final destination in Feilding. A lot of effort into organising four routes, so many thanks to Robert and Lynn Heath for their hard work, and also to John Eames for his report from the northern route, Robyn Higgison (east), Paul & Josie McQuillan (south), and Russell & Julie Gaisford (west). |

Otaki Cultural Run - 19 June 2021
Although again I was away for this run, it looks like a varied day's programme organised by Geoff Keith and Vicki Compton, with good food, interesting history and retail therapy in the mix. Thanks to Alan and Robyn Henry for the report.

The Three Beach Run - 16 May 2021
On what turned out to be a very pleasant late Autumn day, we set off to explore some of the lesser known beaches in our region, including ones that some hadn't visited before. It was a great run, thanks to Robert and Lynn Heath, and thanks to Chris McLeod for writing our run report this month

Whanganui Run - 17 April 2021
Another Saturday run saw another good turn out with some new cars and faces and a varied programme for the day. I wasn't on this run, but with the selection of photos sent in, plus a report from both Robert Wilson and Chris McLeod, it looks to have been a very successful outing.

East Coast/Hawkes Bay Run - 20 March 2021
A change to a Saturday run saw a very good turn out of cars for what proved to be a very full day, driving some wonderful roads with interesting stops to replenish and inform us, with some shopping on the side. Check out the photos, including a couple of ones from Robert Wilson from 2009, when we did some of the same roads. Also read the day's report, thanks to John Eames.

Mangaweka Music Afternoon - 14 February 2021
A beautiful sunny Sunday saw some lucky MGers returning to the very popular Awastone for a relaxing catch up, with a few activities available for those that wanted. Thanks to Robert Wilson for writing our report.
