Two Tanks and Two Towers Run - 11 November 2023
Just when I think I must have covered all the through roads in the Manawatu, Robert managed to find a couple I hadn't been on before! A beautiful day for a run with some fun questions to answer along the way, followed by lunch and a catch up and still time to get to the MG Classic Meeting at Manfeild for some of us. Thanks to Robert Heath for going ahead with this run with a change of date necessary, Steve for his report and Robert Wilson for photos. ![]()

Southern Foodies Delight - 28 October 2023
Well, we couldn't claim to be hungry at the end of this run, as we explored some seasonal produce and interesting cafes in the Horowhenua/Kapiti region. The weather was on our side too, which made for a very enjoyable outing and catch up for those who attended. Thanks to Ian and Sue Bailey for organising the run, to Steve for his report, and Liz Morris and Robyn Higgison for their photos. ![]()

Hawkes Bay Weekend Away - 16 & 17 September 2023
What a great couple of days we had, with a varied programme of interesting spots to visit and out taste buds tingled. We enjoyed some balmy spring temperatures, although that came with the spring wind on Sunday! Thank you to Sue Forde for all her hard work organising this weekend, to Liz Morris and John Eames for reports, and Liz for more great photos. ![]()

Breakfast Run - 19 August 2023
Although I was away again, it was great to read Steve's report and see how well this was supported by members. I am sure you all had a great breakfast and enjoyed catching up with members perhaps not seen for a while. Thanks to Josie and Paul for organising the run and John and Viv for leading it from Sanson. Thanks also for the report and photos. ![]()

Whanganui Collegiate Tour - 9 July 2023
Although a rather wet day, our activities were mainly inside - firstly, a whole new world of Lego creations, built by enthusiasts young and old, followed by an interesting and informative tour of such a well-known school. Many thanks to Steve and Robyn for organising the day and his report, and to Liz Morris and Robert Wilson for photos. ![]()

Timed Run - 17 June 2023
This was something a little different for us, as we had to curb our urge for speed and try and complete our route in the required time and maintain the ideal mph - challenging! Thanks to Alan Henry for organising this outing, and congratulations to the prize recipients. Read more about it in Steve's report, complete with photos. ![]()

MAVtech Run - 20 May 2023
This Run replaced the initial plan that Pat and Lynette had thought to do, but I'm sure that those who attended found it a very interesting outing. Although unable to go on the run, I have visited the museum and watched a film there a few years ago (The Pink Panther) and it was certainly a nostalgic experience, made more entertaining when they got the order of the rolls of film muddled! Many thanks to the organisers, and also to Liz for her photos and report, and Robert Wilson for more photos. ![]()

Rongotea Car Show - 16 April 2023
Thank you to those members that were able to support this car show in aid of Arohanui Hospice, and to Steve and Robyn for their report. ![]()

The Bee's Day Out - 1 April 2023
John Edwards had his work cut out making this run happen, with changes needed due to post cyclone damage to roads, then a change of date required at the last moment. However, those that made the run had an interesting and enjoyable day with much to see, plus the usual catch-up chat. Many thanks to John for his perseverance and organisation, Steve for his report, and Liz for some excellent photos. ![]()

Whanganui River Run - 11 March 2023
This run was organised by our MG Whanganui members, with an invite to all who wished to go. Steve and Robyn attended what sounds like a very enjoyable day - read Steve's report about it. ![]()

Manawatu Tour - 25 February 2023
Although I was away for this tour, it looks like a very interesting and varied programme for the day, which must have taken a lot of organisation. Once again, access was gained to collections not a lot of people are able to visit, and places others may not know about. Thanks to Robert Wilson for the hard work and his photos, and to Steve Higgison for his report. ![]()
